Visitor Center

Bryce Canyon National Park has one Visitor Center, which is located near the Main Entrance (the only entrance) to the Park. This should be your first stop when visit so that you can plan your adventures and make the most of the time that you have to spend.

Hours of Operation

  • Open daily through the summer from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • Reduced hours in the winter
  • Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

  • Weather forecasts
  • Current scheduled Park Ranger programs
  • Junior Ranger booklets
  • Information on lodging, dining and other attractions
  • “Shadows of Time” – a 20 minute film about the area

  • Restrooms and drinking water
  • Pay phone
  • Backcountry permits
  • First Aid
  • Friendly and courteous staff to answer all your questions
