Hidden along the many miles of trails and roadway in Utah's Bryce Canyon National Park, are attractions that can inspire, and even take the breath away. Most visitors plan a full day trip or lengthier vacations to just start to take in the natural wonders that surround them. However, one of the most famous is the Aqua Canyon.

Whether entering the park via car, RV or the free shuttle, Bryce Canyon is like a fantasy world. Pinkish cliffs, natural sculptures of solid rock, the odd tree and views of three US states clutter the horizon in all directions.

It is recommended to venture out on foot. The majority of the trails are easy to walk as long as plenty of water and food is taken, as well as first aid equipment and any camping gear. The sunsets are breathtaking, but from within the canyon, the gentle hues cast a more peaceful spell.

Aqua Canyon can be viewed from the road, but again a walk gives another perspective. From up high, tall thin towers of naturally carved rock stand side by side in brilliant rich colours, wearing their almost militaristic style hats made of fir trees. However, to see it at its best, go in the morning when the cooler light colours' enhance the beauty of the hoodoos.
