Two long weekends of storytelling, dancing, music, musicals, meeting Santa, Christmas lights and trees, food, drink and a Christmas Village.

The American Children's Christmas Festival in Cedar City makes for a holiday season not to be forgotten. The festival starts at the end of November and goes all the way through the Christmas holiday. The Storybook Cavalcade parade marches down Main Street not once, not twice but three times throughout the fest. The Enchanted Forest is a forest filled with childhood favorites. The Celebration of Trees features 22 exquisitely decorated designer trees. Santaland, Cedar City's version of the North Pole, comes complete with the jolly old soul himself. There are many song and dance numbers at the Heritage Center in the evenings to wind your snow filled days with. Getting to the Heritage Center is easy. Cedar City is just beyond Exit 59 off of Interstate 15. Once off the ramp, turn east on 200 North, cross over Main Street and go south on 100 East. Park your vehicle at the four-story parking terrace and get ready to behold the magic of Christmas once you cross over the threshold of the Heritage Center Theater entrance.
