The Desperado Dual Bicycle Rally is held each August. Cyclists from all over the country come to ride through the Outlaw Loop. Seasoned riders can do all 200 miles and finish at the Big Fish Loop. These loops travel down scenic routes such as Highway's 89 and 12 and onward to a climb through Red Canyon and a teetering trip on the edge of Bryce Canyon National Park. After the first checkpoint the rally continues through John's Valley, past Mount Dutton and along the gorge known as Black Canyon. The scenery is intact just the way the American cowboys and Native American's left it years ago.
