A general community festival devoted to local heritage with live entertainment and music, seminars, quilting, arts and crafts and a flag raising ceremony.


Held in Escalante, Utah the Escalante Heritage Festival and Craft Fair is the place to be over Memorial Day Weekend. If you are in canyonland stop here. It will be worth your while. The fest is filled with many artisans from near and far. Crafts abound so be sure to bring your wallet to buy and support Escalante's rich heritage. There are also exhibits and speakers with intentions to spread the history and preserve the old West heritage that Escalante and surrounding areas are known for so bring an open heart and mind. Food will also be a plenty so be sure not to forget an empty stomach so you can fill up on delicious local cuisine.
