Did you ever want to live the way real cowboys do? Do you want to take a peek inside their daily lives? Now you can at Cedar City, Utah's Great American Stampede which is the rodeo of all rodeos in America's Western half.

A fun evening of live rodeo entertainment, food and drinks.


The Great American Stampede takes place each September, after the Labor Day holiday is done. There are Western themed activities galore and something for every cowboy and cowgirl out there. Professional rodeo riders compete in barrel racing, calf roping and steer riding among other crazy stunts. There will also be country music entertainers jamming on stage. Many other Western themed activities to get you the "ya-haw" mood will occur over the weekend. Local horsemen will parade their beautiful black Fresian horses down Main Street for kick off. Other events start at on Friday evening and run from noon on Saturday.
