Utah Shakespearean Festival
From June through October, the Tony award winning Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, Utah puts on theatre productions that are hard to match. Each year a dozen or so new plays are chosen and the best of the best theatre actors in local areas and beyond are chosen to perform.

Four months of Shakespearean plays, ranging from afternoon shows to evening events.
Beginning June and running through August, the Shakespearean Festival brings you a variety of shows at the Adams Shakespearean Theatre and the Randall L. Jones Theater.

Overview: The mission statement says that the USF illuminates the human condition and propels the performers to artistic excellence. They also vow to stimulate and engage the audience so they can be immersed in the rich theatre experience. Aside from the fantastic plays, there are also other festival activities including backstage tours, literary and production seminars, curtain call lunches and educational classes.

Details: The fest takes place at Southern Utah University, just off of Interstate 15. Take a turn down 200 North and onto 300 West to find the Adams Shakespeare Theatre and Randall L. Jones Theatre, where most all events take place.
