Brian Head is the main skiing destination in southern Utah. It is renowned as one of the top ski getaway locations for families. Located not far from the bustling city of Las Vegas, Brian Head sits at a high elevation, receiving some of the greatest amount of snow in the region. The area has over fifty ski runs, as well as numerous cross country trails, that accommodate all abilities and age groups. In fact, it has three levels to enjoy, boasting over thirty snowy features such as pipes, boxes, rails and other interesting formations.

The local resort has a great snowtubing park with six runs, and to most visitors it is like riding a massive, frozen series of water slides. It accommodates families very well with specialized camps, day care facilities, ski and snowboarding schools, and offers spas, snowmobiling, sleigh rides and even snowshoeing.

Accommodations are quite extensive. Some campgrounds are still open, but tiny motels and the major resort are the best bets. These include full dining and excellent basic amenities that are sure to please anyone.
