Overview: The Panguitch Balloon Festival is a marvel which occurs each year during the last weekend in June. Utah's best hot air balloon pilots join in the Media Flight on Friday. Over forty balloons launch into the sky with a beautiful canyon backdrop behind them.

Details: On Saturday evening pilots set their balloons up along Main and Center Streets. Locals say its a "glow" like no other when all of the balloons light up the streets. Music fills the air. Pilots share ballooning information with inquisitive spectators. Restaurants leave their doors open to welcome festival goers. Throughout the weekend there is also sky diving, parachute jumping, breakfasts, tether rides for kids, musical entertainment and a craft fair.
There is no other way to enjoy Panguitch's beautiful Historic District on Main and Center than when it is filled with gorgeous and colorful hot air balloons.
