Overview: The prairie dog has been listed as an endangered species since the 70's and was introduced back into the Utah ecosystem by Bryce Canyon National Park. they are considered a "keystone species" in Bryce and therefor this special day is to celebrate the little guys.

When: Celebrated annually in April. Check the NPS schedule for details.
Where: Throughout Bryce Canyon National Park

Fees: This is a free event for visitors

Details: Events are planned throughout the day in celebration of the prairie dog. Look for keynote speakers, presentations, kids table events, activities and refreshments as well as an art contest.
