Towering red sandstone cliffs surround Moab, Utah and give a hint of what is to come in other nearby attractions. Within a 200-mile radius, there are numerous National Parks, rivers and mountains that are waiting for you to come and discover their beauty. Fertile green valleys cradle Moab while the town's wonderful charm will make you want to stay longer than planned.

For the adventure enthusiast, Moab holds much excitement. From mountain biking to climbing, from touring and river rafting to entertaining nightlife, you will find no lack of things to do. Besides touring the La Sal Mountains, you can go horseback riding, fishing or golfing. There is a host of family activities including the Moab Art Walk and plenty of shopping.

With at least 13 privately owned campgrounds, you won't have a problem finding a place to hook up. Most have all the conveniences such as running water, showers, and flush toilets. There are also Bed & Breakfasts and hotels and motels available. Make your reservations early.

To get to Moab from Bryce Canyon National Park, it is about a four-hour drive taking UT-12, right on US-89 to I-70 East. Exit on exit 182 and take US-191 to Moab.
